100 apprentice spies for GCHQ, William Hague to announce
SPY base GCHQ will be taking on apprentices as it trains up the next generation of cyber experts, Foreign Secretary William Hague is expected to announce today.
The MP is visiting Bletchley Park, the original home for the code-breakers in the UK, today.

And he is expected to reveal that 100 apprentices will be taken on by the intelligence service, with many being based at GCHQ in Cheltenham.
The scheme would give young people a new way to enter the service straight from school, rather than through the more traditional method of university.

Mr Hague is also expected to pay tribute to the staff who worked at Bletchley Park during the Second World War.
It was seen as the centre of the battle against Nazi Germany and has been credited by historians and military experts as shortening the war by at least two years.
