24,000 donations collected by Quedgeley charity centre
A WHOPPING 24,000 donations have been collected at a children's charity's Quedgeley base.
Barnardo's opened the new facility on the Severn Vale Shopping Centre last February.
Much larger than a normal charity shop, it also serves as a sorting and distribution centre for donations to be shared across the wider area.
The new venture has been a huge success – it has received 24,000 bags of clothes, books, toys and games.
