38th annual Team GMF Wyedean Rally drives into - and out of - Coleford
Coleford town centre is closed to traffic today as it plays host to the 38th annual Team GMF Wyedean Rally.
The starting point for this year's event, the drivers were under starter's order in the Market Place this morning as Lady Mayor Sue Merrikin and some of her fellow dignitaries flagged them off from the official starting line.

Having set off from Chepstow Racecourse at 8am, the first car left Coleford at 9am, from where it headed to the forest for the first stage of the day.

With more than 180 entries, the convoy lasted around three hours.
The final group to leave was the high-powered cars, including many in the WRC class.
The finishing line is at Chepstow Racecourse, with the first car expected back around mid afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Forest of Dean Motor Club said: "We are grateful for the opportunity to use Coleford town centre, giving many the opportunity to see the rally cars in this our 38th year of running the Wyedean."
