£50 reward to find Ronnie the rat - lost in Tewkesbury recycling
RONNIE the rat has kept Luke Thurston company since he was a baby.
But Luke, nine, has now lost his furry companion after the cuddly toy was popped into the recycling box of Luke's home for safe-keeping.
Now it's lost in the Tewkesbury recycling centre.
Mum Shelley Hutchinson, of Hayes Court, Longford, is offering workers at the plant a £50 reward if they can reunite Luke with his favourite toy.

She said: "Ronnie has huge sentimental value to us and I would probably cry if we found him again.
"He was a gift from my auntie when Luke was just three months old. Luke doesn't need him now but he's a part of the family still."
Ronnie was sent on his adventure when a relative returned him to Luke's home and popped in the recycling box for safekeeping from the rain. They thought he would be picked up later that day when Luke returned from school.
But, unbeknown to them, it was actually recycling day.
Bin men have now sent Ronnie on his way in an episode not too dissimilar to the adventures of Buzz Lightyear and Woody in the children's films Toy Story 3 who were accidentally sent to a daycare centre.
Ms Hutchinson has enlisted the help of bosses at the recycling plant, based at Tewkesbury, who have put out an alert for any workers who spot the cream coloured rat, which has floppy arms and legs, big paws and whiskers.
She said: "I hope we find him. I have visions of him being sent up recycling chutes and all sorts. It's terrible."
