‘Wide-eyed’ Tewkesbury Colts enjoy first taste of Robins action
TEWKESBURY Town Colts were ‘ecstatic’ to be at Whaddon Road on Saturday to witness Cheltenham Town gain a valuable point against Aldershot.
The Under-eights and Under-nines team watched in trepidation as Aldershot took the lead.

They were happy to see the home side equalise in the second half of the League Two fixture.
Under-nines coach Trevor Roder said the Colts enjoyed themselves.

“The weather was warm and all the children really enjoyed their day out – they were buzzing,” he said.
“The highlight for them, though, was Marlon Pack signing autographs after the match. They absolutely loved that.
“For some of the children, this was the first football match they have ever been too.
“They were wide-eyed and very happy.”
