HOLD on to your peg legs – the River Rogues are invading one of Gloucestershire's attractions this weekend. And they might just make you walk the plank.
A horde of pirates are setting up camp at the Dean Heritage Centre in Soudley today and tomorrow, teaching the lifeskills of piracy to budding buccaneers.
Youngsters will learn how pirates made their lead shot in the living history camp, meet Captain Skull's feathered friends in the parrot tent, take part in a treasure hunt across the woodland site to find Armless Pete's hidden booty and make their own pirate hook.
Plus they'll be able to listen to sea shanties sung by the heritage centre's swashbuckling guests.

Plus pirate Captain Jack will be taking promising plunderers around his adventure challenges.
You must book in advance, but they happen at 11am, 1pm and 3pm on both days. Feel free to wear fancy dress. It's £6 for adults and £4.40 for over-fives.
