Ambulance on blue light call crashes near Stroud
A driver was treated by paramedics after her car and an ambulance car collided at a junction.
Police said the Ford Mondeo was under a blue light and had been crossing through traffic lights at the time of the collision with a silver Ford Focus on the Ebley bypass between Stroud and Stonehouse.
The 57-year-old female driver of the Ford Focus was assessed at the scene but was not believed to have been seriously hurt, while the ambulance driver was uninjured.
The collision was reported at 2.15pm and the road was closed at 2.45pm for recovery to take place. It has since reopened but police have warned the Ebley bypass may need to be closed again before both vehicles are cleared.
