Amy Locke
The team communicates with all parties involved in the sale of a home to make the process smoother.
She has worked within the travel industry for many years selling holidays, being an overseas representative, cruise operations supervisor and recently working onboard Fred Olsen Cruise Lines as sales manager.
The father and son relationship is special, catch that perfect bond at a special photoshoot for them.

While on board the cruise ships, Amy gained a wealth of experience in customer service and appreciated the importance of dealing with guests from the initial sale through to joining the ship and enjoying their cruise.
Having recently moved back to her hometown of Gloucester and going through the house buying process herself, she realised the importance of a customer care team within the sales process.
And when the position of sales progression manager was advertised, she jumped at the opportunity to put her solid organising skills and customer service experience gained over the years, into something new.
"Moving home is one of the most stressful activities that you can put yourself through.
"This is often caused when trying to keep abreast of all the different people involved in the sales process; from the seller, the buyer, their respective solicitors and mortgage lenders.
"There are searches and surveys to be completed, contracts to be drafted, signed and exchanged. This is further complicated when there is a number of sales, or a chain, involved.
"Unlike many independent agents, The Property Centre has a dedicated sales progression team tasked with communicating with all parties to ensure a smooth as possible process."

“I think a few of you are forgetting what this article is actually about! It is a business promoting a positive thing. A dedicated team to help people with the stress of moving house....So what if it is a cheeky way to advertise - is it such a bad thing??
I assume those who have commented negatively prefer to read about the latest clelebrity caught with his trousers down??? or in these "current economic climes" how much yet another footballer is getting paid to kick a ball around a field (and propbably get caught with is trousers down later in the evening).... just a thought...”

“@Walker100 why should anyone be expected to work without getting paid a property wage?
Commision only - what a joke.”

“Obviously Miss Locke found that tourism in general and cruises in particular are something of a sinking ship in these current economic climes..... Assuming that the reference to the complexity of any transaction is a quote from the lady in question, she has missed quite a bit out and got some of it in the wrong order, so I hope she has a better overview when on the job so to speak. I also hope, being a newcomer to the world of house buying and selling, that she learns pdq that Fridays are not a good day to phone solicitors for updates on matters that are still some way away from exchange and/or completion...!!”

"Nibnobs - would they have employed someone if they weren't selling property? Do you think the owners of the business pay somebody to sit around doing nothing?"
Yes, JASB999......It's called "commission only".”

“Takeaway22,
I would think the estate agency wasn't charged for the web site insertion but it would be called 'additional marketing support' to 'encourage' the estate agent to continue to advertise in Thursday's almost pointless Home Buyer section.
Pointless to anyone with access to the internet that is. Web sites like rightmove.com, zoopla etc contain an easy to use property postcode search, 12 large pictures of each property/garden, floorplans, room sizes, maps etc and are FREE to use, whereas the Thursday Home Buyer section costing 50p to get it has just one tiny picture and usually around 12 words per house listing......Pointless!”

“JASB999 - I'm in agreement with Geraint here. Your comment on October 25 2012, 12:12PM: Are you implying The Property Centre paid an advertising fee to have this in the news column rather than the right hand column?”

“Yep, just ANOTHER property-related advertorial.”
