Andrews leads his team from the front
FOREST of Dean AC had an excellent turnout in their latest Avon League meeting.
The juniors and seniors have generally competed separately over the last few years, although one of the exceptions has been Darren Andrews, who finished second in the hammer.
Andrews has built up a strong squad of throwers among the young athletes and has now started to develop the senior throwers, and four other adults joined him in the throws.
The majority of them were parents, coaches or distance runners who all started throwing at the club's highly successful Come and Try day.
