Anti-incinerator campaigners to protest on planned site
Anti-incinerator campaigns will gather at Javelin Park in Haresfield tomorrow to protest against plans for a £500million burner on the site.
They will meet at 11am ahead of a visit by councillors from Gloucestershire County Council's planning committee.
They will be looking at the site before making a decision on the plans on March 21 at Kingsholm Stadium.
Campaigners want to encourage the planning committee to refuse planning permission.

Campaign group GlosVAIN is planning an orderly demonstration, with colourful banners, a possible tractor and a 70m blimp to demonstrate the height of the proposed incinerator stack.
Sue Oppenheimer, chairman of GlosVAIN, said: "We are hoping that a fair number of people will come and show their strength of feeling against this proposal, even though it's a work day and many of our supporters won't be able to attend."
