App will help visitors to find their way around city
A smartphone app aimed at showcasing Truro has been launched by Totally Truro, the city's Business Improvement District.
Available to download free for both Android phones and iPhones, the Truro app features more than 500 businesses and attractions.

It aims to help visitors to Truro to navigate the city and is based on the BID's website, www.enjoytruro.co.uk.
It carries a special offers section, supported by fellow app provider Voucher Tree, as well as an RSS feed from enjoytruro.co.uk about the latest events in the city.
The Truro app has been developed by Totally Truro with Wellington-based developer TownGuideApps. It was officially launched on Thursday at the O2 store, on Lemon Quay.
BID manager Neil Scott said: "The smartphone revolution means that more and more people are accessing their information via a mobile phone handset. With half of the UK population now owning a smartphone and 70 per cent of mobile phone sales being smartphones, now is the time to launch the first town app in Cornwall."
The app is funded as part of the information and signage project, outlined in the BID's current business plan.
The BID is now gearing up for a ballot in June when retailers will vote on whether they want the scheme to continue for another five years.
