Officers investigating an attempted burglary in Gloucester earlier this month are appealing for information.

The incident took place at around 5.35pm on Monday August 20, when two men called at a house in Tewkesbury Road, Longford.

One man is believed to have acted as look out, while another two approached the house and knocked on the door.

The occupants did not answer, and the men then attempted to break into the property. The householders shouted at them, at which point they ran off and got into a black car parked in nearby Westfield Terrace, which sped off towards Plock Court.
