Arrest made over Broad Leys Road car crime
CAR owners are being told to tighten up security after police arrested a man in connection with an attempted car theft in Broad Leys Road.
A resident called police after reporting his Volkswagen Golf had been broken into and its dashboard ripped apart as if it had been 'hotwired'.
A mobile phone was also stolen and a shed broken into on the same night.
A 20-year-old Gloucester man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
