Arrest in connection with attempted rape in Cheltenham
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection to an attempted rape in Cheltenham last night.
Police were carrying out door-to-door investigations in Robert Burns Avenue, in Benhall, following the alleged incident, which was reported at 6.30pm.
Officers confirmed the alleged incident and said the man remained in police custody this morning.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police on 101.
