Thugs threw a burning object at the window of a Cheltenham nightclub in the early hours of this morning.

Police and firefighters were called to Subtone in The Promenade at about 1.20am.

The object caused damage to the window and the wall of the building.

Officers are examining CCTV footage and have appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
