Artist returns with something a bit different
PEOPLE who have overcome adversity are the focus of an exhibition with a difference.
The collection by Cheltenham artist Kate Hopkins features a man who runs half marathons despite having had a leg amputated and a man who has cerebral palsy.

THINKING POSITIVE: The new exhibition by Kate Hopkins is about people who have overcome hardship in different ways
This is the first solo exhibition the 30-year-old, from Leckhampton, has put on for 10 years after taking time out to have three children.
Kate, whose paintings are on show in Gloucester, said: "It's about people who have overcome hardship and are inspirational. I have been really pleased by the turnout. People are saying it's good to see work which has a bit more to it."
The University of Gloucestershire graduate has decided to donate money raised by the exhibition to five different charities -– all of which have links to her subjects or the venue.
The exhibition runs at St Nicholas's Church in Westgate Street, Gloucester, until July 24.
