Artist returns to school
A TALENTED artist has returned to her Cheltenham school to put on an exhibition this month.
Emily Ryder, who left Dean Close in 2010, has returned to put her work on display in the school's Bonbernard Gallery.
Entitled Progress, it features pieces she has worked on over the past three years including naturalistic drawings she learned whilst studying at the prestigious Charles Cecil Studios in Florence. Tracey Colbert-Smith, a school spokeswoman, said: "We are delighted that Emily has been able to return to Dean Close with an exhibition of her work that charts her progress over the past three years.
"It stands as an example to other students as to what can be achieved beyond the walls of Dean Close."
