Attempted robbery at in Hester's Way Road, Cheltenham
A CHELTENHAM man was knocked to the floor before his attacker tried to steal his mobile phone when he was on the ground.
The attempted robbery on the 25-year-old took place outside the Co-op on Hester's Way Road at 6.15pm on Saturday.

A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police confirmed the victim was not injured in the incident and nothing was stolen.
The offender was described as white, around 5ft 11" tall and of medium build.

He was wearing white trainers with two red stripes on the sides, a dark coloured 'beanie' hat, dark coloured jeans and a jacket.
Anyone who witnessed the attempted robbery should contact police on 101 and quoting incident number 357 of February 16.
