Gloucestershire weather outlook with Ian Thomas
THIS weekend promises some fine and warm weather as high pressure takes command.
Saturday will probably start with some early mist and fog patches but these will quickly disperse to give a sunny day with fair weather cloud at times.
Temperatures will respond in the sun climbing to 21-23C (70-74F) and feeling like summer should.
Sunday will again see spells of sunshine but high cloud will spill in from the west later and a westerly wind will pick up.

Daytime temperatures much as Saturday with overnight lows of 10-13C (50-55F).
A gradual change to more unsettled weather early next week as fronts push eastward across the county and becoming cooler by midweek.
With cooler nights and shorter evenings here, autumn is now beckoning and without further ado, the stats for summer 2012. As if you need telling, it has been thoroughly wet and miserable.
The total rainfall for August came in at 135mm (5.3in) making it the wettest August since 2010 (154mm/6in). The summer total from June 1-August 31 panned out at 406mm (16in) and is the second wettest summer in 41years of records here at Dursley.
The gold medal still belongs to 2007 when 432mm (17in) fell (remember the July floods?)
Taking the UK as a whole, this summer is the wettest in a century with 1912 at the top, although, like Dursley many locations in Gloucestershire and the West Midlands had higher totals in 2007, with Pershore and Coventry amongst them.
Temperature-wise, August was the warmest month of the summer by far averaging 17.18C (63F), the warmest since August 2004, all down to the humid nights and some warmer days. The overall average came in at 16.08C (61F) and along with 2011, was the coolest summer since 1998. Only 32 out of the 92 summer days were completely dry.
