FOUR youngsters from Cheltenham Swimming and Water Polo Club have been selected for a South West water polo team.

Pate's Grammar School pupils Calum Bradshaw and Andrew Boulton, Bournside School pupil Edward Hambidge and Rudi Polster, a pupil at Cleeve School, fought off fierce competition to win places in the 13-strong squad, along with players from Exeter, Barnstaple and Paignton clubs.

The team will compete in Division One of the Under-16s inter-regional championships at GL1, Gloucester, at the weekend.
