“Subway uses ingredients which are branded as fresh but are far from it. All of the ingredients are frozen and vacuum packed and then one week later delivered to the store and served to customers. The meat is processed beyond belief and the bread is filled with additives and preservatives to keep it "fresh". Still, it all smells good.”

“I am appalled that these subways are not the correct size! If I have paid for a footlong I expect to be placing a full 12 inches into my mouth!”

“But I'm trying to lose weight! What would I do with two??
Ok, I could offer one to a poor or homeless person.
Yes, maybe that's the thing to do...”

“@Matt1006. I got a "6 Inch" sub yesterday in Gloucester and it was just over 5 inches. Can see trading standards officers being busy! Now if Subway were to describe their subs as large or small then there would be no problem.”

“Should I take a tape measure and ask for a discount or just report them to Trading Standards?”

“How long is a six inch sub, at Subway? Because their foot-long subs are only 11 inches long... Which isn't a foot.”

“What a bargain. Shame you have to spend 50p on the paper to cut out the voucher though!!”
