Bail extended for man arrested in connection with attempted rape in Cheltenham
A 42-year-old man arrested in connection with an attempted rape investigation in Cheltenham has had his bail extended.
Police are continuing to appeal for information about the alleged incident, which took place in Robert Burns Avenue on February 18.

Detectives said a young woman was subjected to a "terrifying ordeal" in which a man wearing a balaclava grabbed her as she was walking along the pavement and tried to drag her into nearby bushes.
A 42-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident was due to return to Cheltenham police station on Monday.

However, police leading the inquiry have extended his bail to allow them more time.
A new bail date for the man is yet to be set.
