Bar owner tightens security after knife attack
SECURITY has been tightened at Butlers bar in Eastgate Street after a knife wielding robber made off with more than £10,000 in weekend takings on Sunday afternoon.
Boss Justin Hudson was left nursing a fractured jaw before he and two colleagues gave chase through the streets of Gloucester.
"We will be getting Securicor in from now on to deal with any cash that leaves the building," he said.
"The two lads with me are quite shaken by this. It is the sort of thing you never think will happen to you."
