A RANGE of real ales will be on offer when the fifth Cheltenham Beer Festival gets under way on July 10.

The event, at the Old Patesians Club in Everest Road, Cheltenham, is organised by The Friends of the Samaritans.

This year's event has grown and there will be 50 real ales on offer along with 12 ciders and perries. There will also be a Pimm's bar.

To complement this, a pig roast and barbecue, along with live music, will also be provided.

The Friends of the Samaritans hope to raise £10,000 for the Cheltenham and district branch of the organisation.

The festival starts at noon and goes on until 11pm.
