Bellringer stops after 68 years

A bellringer from Cheltenham has ended her hobby after 68 years. Helen Taylor has been ringing bells since a boyfriend taught her when she was 18, making St Peter's Church her base. The 86-year-old said: 'It is very enjoyable, and I have met a lot of people from it.' The retired nurse encouraged her two sons and daughter to take it up but says it is getting difficult
