FOOTBALL crazy children got to use their talents best at Severn Vale School in Quedgeley.

Education Through Sports, a group which aims to train up keen young players, ran as soccer academy all last week.

The academy sessions were delivered by qualified coaches, with scouts from Gloucester City FC on hand to see if they can pick up some stars of the future.

Every child taking part went home with free T-Shirts, with some picking up medals for their performances.
