The offender punched the boy in the face, causing him to fall off his bike and leaving him with swelling and bruising to the cheek. The man then rode off on the boy's black mountain bike which has the word 'TREK' in blue writing on the frame. The bike has eight gears and is worth around £400.

'Jonesy' is described as around 23 years old, over 6ft tall, of skinny build, with dark brown shaved hair which is shorter on the sides and back, a teardrop tattoo under one eye, a scar on one hand and tattoos on both hands. He was wearing black and white Adidas trainers, blue jeans, a grey top and grey Beanie hat.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or who recognises the description of the offender is urged to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 332 of July 2.
