Bizarre Youtube clip of altercation between cyclist and woman
Gloucestershire Police have released footage of a bizarre altercation between a man on a bicycle and a woman on foot.
The incident is believed to have happened at around 12.25pm on Saturday January 28 on the B4425 at Ampney Coln near Bibury.

Footage released by police
A woman called police on that day to report that she had been assaulted by a cyclist who had been holding up traffic.
Officers have made a number of enquiries to locate this woman but to no avail.

As part of their enquiries officers seized footage that had been posted on Youtube that is believed to be connected to the same incident.
The footage shows a man cycling along a road when he is approached by a woman on foot who pushes him; they then get into an altercation.
It can be seen below:
Investigating officers have been working to identify the individuals. They are now turning to the public for their help.
The individuals captured on the film, or anyone who witnessed the incident, are asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 187 of January 28.

“Yes, I think you're right, Hoof_Hearted2, going by the steadiness of the footage. In fact, I think the camera was mounted on the dashboard, and you can see it being turned slightly to the left at 0.13, after the driver tried to pass the cyclist but couldn't quite make it.
Now Tig is saying this woman is a pedestrian...

“Well, it's the weekend now, so let us, as they say on 'In Our Time', unpack this...
I suspect (just speculation) that the root of this is the cyclist's blocking of a car/van/other vehicle's progress, and the filming actually started well before anyone got out, but the police haven't shown the first bit. That may mean that the driver was filming, but we don't see him/her getting out while recording, so we can't say.
Again, we can't judge whether the cyclist was being rather unreasonable, or if the vehicle roared up behind him on a country road at speed, and he made a snap decision to be awkward.
And it could just be a hoax, but we don't know. The first bit sort of feels like it.”
