FOREST GREEN chairman Trevor Horsley has announced a reshuffle of the club's board.

John Clapp is stepping down as a director, eight years after joining from Bristol City.

With Colin Gardner forced to relinquish his position last year due to ill health, board vacancies have been filled by Martin and Jenny Anns, Bob Savage and Colin Peake.

Horsley said: "John (Clapp) has been an excellent servant to Forest Green Rovers in his eight-year association with the club, being heavily involved in a number of key projects."

Clapp has agreed to continue to oversee constitutional changes that will lead to the club being put in the hands of shareholders.

The Anns both left the board a year ago to oversee a house move to the Midlands, but con- tinued to help on matchdays.

Savage joins as a representative of the new FGR Supporters Trust, having been a long-time club servant.

Rovers' secretary, press officer and matchday announcer Peake returns as a director following his appointment to the board of the Football Conference.
