Branch make a passage to India
BRANCH Hydraulic Systems has constructed what is believed to be one of the biggest hydraulic power packs built in the UK in the last 12 months.
The 2MW unit has been made for Zetatek Industries Ltd to drive a large earthquake simulator for use by the Indian Nuclear Research facility.

Branch Hydraulic Systems welcomed visitors from India to see their work up close
Representatives from Zetatek Industries Ltd, along with servo hydraulic test and motion simulation specialist Servotest Testing Systems, met with the Innsworth- based Branch Hydraulic Systems team to formalise the sign off and approval of the giant power unit.
A representative from Zetatek industries Ltd said the scale of the unit surprised him.

Branch technical director, Alex Tatlow said: "Customers are often unable to visualise the size and scale of a system when they see it on paper but when they see it complete, especially one like this with such giant proportions, it really takes them by surprise.
"Seeing it here today, finished to such a high standard, it makes us feel really rather proud to be sending this to India, as an example of British engineering capability."
A division of hydraulic and fluid power company, Group HES, Branch Hydraulic Systems is responsible for the design, manufacture, installation, repair and service of hydraulic power units and systems.
