EastEnders' Branning brothers are apparently set to come to blows.

Max Branning - played by Jake Wood - has returned to Albert Square seeking to work things out with wife Tanya, despite the fact she tried to bury him alive.

So the love rat - who had an affair with his daughter-in-law Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) - is furious when he finds out Tanya (Jo Joyner) has been having a steamy fling with his brother Jack, according to The Sun.

It seems he turns up unannounced at former policeman Jack's flat demanding an explanation but when his younger brother - played by Scott Malsen - apologises but insists he and Tanya are in love, Max can't accept it and things get violent.

After a tussle with Jack he ends up pinned face down to the floor.

A soap insider told the newspaper: "The brothers argue over Tanya. Max hits out and ends up rolling on the floor."
