A TEENAGE breakdancer has been selected to perform with

Britain's Got Talent

star George Sampson.

Ben Goodrum, 17, has been picked from more than 60,000 hopefuls who submitted audition films for the chance to body pop, and moonwalk with the 15-year-old who won the ITV talent show with his routine to

Singin' In The Rain

.

Ben will now perform with George as one of his backing dancers on his new music and dance DVD.

The Cleeve School student said: “It was on Bebo on Friday and I just thought I'd send something in. I've got some film of me dancing, so I cut it down to 30 seconds and sent it in. I was amazed when I heard on Saturday that I was in the last 10 and when they told me I'd been picked I was really surprised.”

Ben, who lives with his parents Desiree and Nick in Charlton Kings, said: “We'll be filming in London in a couple of weeks.”

As well as being a hip-hop dancer, Ben is also an accomplished classical piano player. But he admits being torn between his piano playing and dancing.

He said: “I really like them both. One day I'll dance for hours in my dining room and the next I'll practice the piano for hours.”

So does Ben want to be a celebrity? “I don't know. I want to be a musician and I want to study music at Uni. But I don't think break dancing will be a serious career, but I'll always do it as a hobby.”

Ben, who is studying Business, art, English and music for A-Level added: “If it opens up some doors, though, I'll see where it leads.”
