The incident followed a night of delays for drivers during rush-hour on Friday after a number of other incidents across Gloucestershire.

“Matt1006, it's a mk3 Corsa - you can tell by the high visibility back lights, but the rest of it is un-recognisable as any particular make of car. The car must have been doing quite a speed by the look of the wreck the way it appears to almost be bent over itself.
Dreadfully sad situation at the start of the new year for those she left behind.”

“That is a graphic picture of the wreck. I'll take TiG's word for it that the car is (was) a Corsa, because it's unrecognizable now, at least from the front. Must have been a very big impact with the tree (or whatever else it hit) to cause that much deformation.
Another young life lost on the county's roads. Condolences to the victim's family & friends.”
