Brooker and Lewis the City slickers as leaders lose their Glow
GLOUCESTER City defeated league leaders Caer Glow by 106-73, cutting the gap at the top of the in Eagle Line Glevum Bowls League to 10 points.
Alan Brooker notched the highest winning rink overcoming Simon Allsopp 22-7 while Doug Lewis was well in command against Ron Ray winning 25-14.

The reliable Margaret Reeve bear Pauline Gunn 20-11, Matt Curtis claimed a one shot lead against Andy Letts whilst Paul Morris lost out to Roger Bird 22-19.
Caer Glow had earlier disposed of rivals Gloucester Co-op with a comfortable 116-68 win that saw Pauline Gunn chalk up a massive 40-10 win over her husband Roy.
Andy Letts disposed of Colin Bruton 22-15, Ivor Holder won 21-13 against Danny Bower, Ron Ray overcame Steve Allsopp 20-13 while Dave Gent missed out losing 17-13 to Jan Bruton.
The Co-op weighed in with a 114-91 over Dowty to maintain third spot with Roy Gunn gaining a 29-10 win over Harold Stephens.
Steve Allsopp sent Brian Newman packing with a 29-19 win and Danny Bower overcame Paul Pulley 25-21.
Jan Bruton lost 19-15 to Martyn Gardner whilst Colin Bruton suffered at the hands of Steve Pope losing 22-16.
For the second week running Gloucester Civil Service managed just two winning rinks but still overcame British Energy 92-77.
An impressive 31-10 win by Dave Heath over Christine Magee and the 20-12 win by Derek Thorpe over Peter White proved to be enough despite Energy's Julian Magee romping to a 21-10 win over Hugh Hart.
Robin Powell got the better of Cyril Brazier 16-14 and Alan Hodgetts gained a single shot win over Geoff Heath 18-17.
Sir Thomas Rich's climbed off the bottom of the table with a 97-79 win over Gloucester Spa.
Rob Leach led the way with a 24-11 win over Gerry Malecki closely followed by Ian Farrell who beat Dave Rolls 23-11.
Steve Hopkins put the icing on the cake with a 21-12 defeat of Terry Edwards whilst John Hunt slipped to a 20-15 loss to in form Jean Knight. and Norman Douse suffered a 25-14 defeat to Derek Taylor.
Pineholt were grateful to Winget, who unfortunately had two triples and went down by the slender margin of three shots 87-84.
Roger Harrison chalked up a 21-9 win over the triple skipped by Keith Collier and Mark Horwood came home on the last end against Ron Phelps who was also a triple 15-14.
John Blackmore had a fine 25-12 win over Bob Redding, Graham Hill crashed to a 20-14 loss to Tom O'Connor and Fred Parker suffered a 29-12 defeat to Neville Wheeldon.
