Brown: Let's build upon our good season
SCOTT Brown wants Cheltenham Town to kick on next term after putting pen to paper on a new contract with the Robins.
As exclusively revealed in the Echo yesterday, goalkeeper Brown has agreed a new two-year deal that will take him to ten years of service at the Abbey Business Stadium.
Despite missing large swathes of last season when England goalkeeper Jack Butland joined the Robins, Brown finished the season as the Robins number one.
And after sampling notable highs last term, including trips to White Hart Lane and Wembley, Brown has set his sights on improvements, both individually and collectively next term.

Delighted to have agreed a new deal, the 27-year-old stopper heaped praise on goalkeeping coach Steve Book for the improvements in his game.
"Steve Book has been really important for me and he is a fantastic coach," Brown said.
"I have a learnt a lot from him since he has been here and I think that has helped me to improve as a goalkeeper.
"It's nice to get the contract sorted because it has been a busy few weeks.
"I'm really looking forward to the next two years with Cheltenham Town.
"I'm looking forward to kicking on next season and building on the good season we had."
â The Robins are looking into the possibility of playing their Capital One Cup first-round clash with MK Dons on Saturday August 11.
A pre-season friendly against tenants Gloucester City has been pencilled in for that date, but that could be moved or postponed to fit in the cup clash against the Dons.

“Scotty - Cheers for signing for us for another 2 years. Last season was an up-and-down season for you, but as well as the coaching Booky gave you, I think your performances also improved when you got back into the team when Butland went back to Brum, Wether that was a concious thing or not, you certainly seemed to up your game in when you got the No. 1 jersey back from Butland.
A blinding performance in the 2nd leg at Torquay was the main reason that we ended up getting to Wembley for the play-off final. You are improving as a goalie with your saves and decision-making as the season progress - keep up the great work!
Here's to an automatic-promotion season in 2012-13!!”
