Brrr .... grey, cold and icy day ahead
SNOW and ice warnings were still in place for the early hours of this morning, ahead of another grey, damp day.
Sleet is expected at about 9am and temperatures are barely expected to get above freezing all day.
Tomorrow is due to stay dry but overcast but the mercury is not predicted to get any higher.
Heavy rain is due on Wednesday afternoon but the sun should finally make an appearance, albeit brief, on Thursday.
