"Brutal" attack on pregnant woman in Gloucester Asda carpark
Police are searching for a pregnant woman who was "brutally beaten" in a supermarket carpark.
The woman was attacked in the early hours of this morning by a man outside Asda in Bruton Way, Gloucester.

Staff at the supermarket witnessed the assault and called police who arrived quickly and arrested the male suspect.
The victim left the scene before police arrived and officers are anxious to speak to her.

They say there is real concern for her welfare as she was subjected to, what witnesses describe, as a 'brutal beating'.
She told a member of the public who went to help her that she was three months pregnant.
She is described as a white female, around 28 years of age, 5'1" tall, of slim build with long, very dark hair.
At the time of the assault she was wearing a denim jacket, three quarter length jeans and high-heeled shoes.
The woman, or anyone who knows who she may be, is urged to contact Gloucester police on 101, quoting incident 23 of September 15.
