Police are appealing to the Berkeley community for information following a burglary at a building site on Lynch Road in the town.

About 100 metres of various sized copper piping tubes, a large amount of grey electrical wiring, a wheelbarrow and a number of tools, including three electric drills, were all stolen between 4.30pm on Friday and 8am today.

Officers investigating the burglary are asking anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area over the weekend to get in touch by calling Gloucestershire Police on 101 and quoting incident number 74 of February 13.

You can also give information anonymously by contacting the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org and you may receive a reward of up to £1,000 if someone is arrested and charged.
