Burglars try museum break-in
FAILED attempts by suspected burglars to break into Gloucester Museum have caused £70 worth of damage.
A window at the back of the building in Commercial Road was smashed, sometime between 5.30pm on Sunday and Monday morning.
The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum tells the story of two famous county regiments, The Gloucestershire Regiment and The Royal Gloucestershire Hussars.
Police believe the damage was caused as part of an attempted break-in and are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious to come forward.
