Burlesque workshops unleash the real woman on to the town
BURLESQUE bombshell Missy Malone will be showing women how to unleash their inner dancer at a special fandance workshop.
The 27-year-old, who moved to Cheltenham five years ago, hopes to reveal th spa town's naughty side with the 90-minute sessions on how to perform the moves.
And she insisted that, rather than being tawdy, it celebrated another side of women.
"It has really taken off here and it works so well," she said. "Our professional performances and the workshops usually sell out.

"The workshops are an opportunity to have a try. Burlesque is really inclusive and all sorts of women come along with it suitable for all sorts of ages, sizes and races.
"It is a celebration of women and people always say it is not as intimidating as they thought it would be because it has a sense of humour and you can have a lot of fun with it."
Missy discovered burlesque nine years ago and has been hooked ever since.
She wanted to be an actor, but her passion for vintage style and performing saw her first get into burlesque when it was virtually unheard of in the UK.
She said the classes create a relaxed and fun environment. It is not a stripping workshop and will not include tassel-twirling or nudity.
The workshop will be followed by a question and answer session.
Missy's workshops will be taking place at the Playhouse Theatre in Cheltenham on March 28 and 29 at 7pm.
A professional performance of The Missy Malone and Friends Burlesque Revue will be taking place, also at the Playhouse, on April 20 from 7pm to 9.30pm.
The performances, which ooze 1950s glamour, always play to sell out audiences, after she has secured a solid fan base in the town.
