Burns Night goes with a bang at The Star in Whiteshill
HAGGIS, poetry and good cheer were all on offer at The Star in Whiteshill where Burns Night was celebrated in style.
"It was superb, we were absolutely packed," said landlord Ken Dickens.
Chef John Nicoll prepared complimentary haggis, neeps and tatties, for the event on Friday to celebrate poet Robert Burns. There was live music from Dark Island, with front man Dave Scott, delivering the Address to the Haggis.
"It was an excellent evening which we genuinely enjoyed and was a real community event," said Ken.
