Bus travel just ticket for clippies

The former bus conductresses were among nearly 30 ex-Stroud bus company employees who enjoyed the meal at the Tudor Arms in Slimbridge.
"Stroud depot has always been a strong community," said the event's organiser Ken Gowling from successor company Stagecoach West.
"It used to be a Christmas dinner but with quite a few of the retired staff getting more elderly they preferred it to be held in the autumn," Mr Gowling said.
