Busy Prestbury roundabout closed today
DRIVERS going through Prestbury were left having to take a different route, after roadworks were started on one of the ward's busiest roundabouts.
Carriageway resurfacing works took place at the double mini roundabouts leading and coming from Tatchley Lane, Prestbury Road, Deep Street, Blacksmith Lane, and Bouncers Lane.
Roads leading up to the roundabout are closed today as crews from Gloucestershire Highways carried out roadworks on the roundabout, with drivers being turned away.
The roads will be closed again next Sunday.
