The former home of Harry Potter creator JK Rowling has been snapped up three weeks after going on the market.
The detached house in the Merchiston area of Edinburgh is understood to have sold for significantly more than the asking price of offers over £2.25 million.
Estate agent Rettie and Co said the property listing for 1 Abbotsford Park attracted over 16,000 visits on its website.
