Campaign call on wardens' privatisation
TEWKESBURY Town Council will receive a petition on parking wardens this Monday.
Councillor Mike Sztymiak will hand it on behalf of Mark Turner from the Attica shop in Barton Street.
It says: "Petition against the privatisation of the parking wardens for car parks and on street parking in Tewkesbury and to allow Tewkesbury Town Council to take over the contract allowing the profit of approximately £500,000 to go towards better facilities and amenities in Tewkesbury."
The meeting will be held from 6pm at the Town Hall in Tewkesbury High Street.
