Candlemas marked at Gloucester Cathedral
CANDLEMAS is being celebrated in Gloucester Cathedral from tomorrow.
All are welcome to join the Candlemas Eucharist with procession to the Lady Chapel at 10.15am.
Then at 4pm Gloucester Cathedral choir will sing a candlelit performance of Britten's A Ceremony of Carols accompanied by harpist Eluned Pierce.
Admission is free of charge and a retiring collection in aid of cathedral music will be made. No ticket is required.
