Canoeist rescued on River Wye
Firefighters were called to a river rescue yesterday.
At 5.50pm crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue were scrambled to reports of a canoeist capsizing near Symonds Yat.
One canoeist in a party of 19 was rescued while the others made their way to the bank.
No-one was injured and all members of the group were accounted for.
