Car transporter catches fire in Blakeney
Firefighters were called to Blakeney this afternoon after a car transporter caught fire.
Two fire engines from Lydney Fire Station were sent to Newnham Road just after midday following reports of a fire involving a car transporter and a car.
The first appliancearrivedf at 12.15pm and the fire was brought under control by 12.35pm using two hosereels and two breathing apparatus.
Both appliances were detained some time at the scene.
