A SPATE of damage was caused to cars in Leonard Stanley over the weekend.

Police are investigating after marker pen, possibly permanent, was used to draw a smiley face in red ink on the bonnet of a white Iveco van parked on a driveway at a home in Brimley.

A nondescript picture was also drawn on the driver-side rear window of the victim's black Land Rover, which was parked on the road.

Gloucestershire officers believe the damaged, caused between Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21, could be linked to two other incidents in the area.
