Cat rescued by 11 firefighters in Nailsworth
A cat suffered an 'ordeal' after it was trapped in a car that was left in a 'precarious position' during a crash.
Eleven firefighters rushed to the rescue of the animal after reports of the crash at Bath Road, in Nailsworth, yesterday shortly before 9pm.
Fears that a person may also have been trapped in the vehicle were unfounded when fire crews from Nailsworth and Stroud arrived on the scene.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Once in attendance it was found that fortunately nobody was trapped, but there was a vehicle in a precarious position. This vehicle also contained a cat.
